We’re upgrading your log in experience
Over the course of this year, we will be making changes to the way you log in to Fidelity Adviser Solutions.
When will the changes happen?
The changes will be made at two points in the year - April/May and September onwards.
What will be the change in April/May?
In April/May there will be a change to the landing page for log in but your log in credentials will remain the same, ie., Log in ID (which you may know as your Consultant ID) and PIN.
New log in page to enter a username which will be your existing Log In ID. This will not be pre-populated so will need to be entered. If you’ve forgotten your Log in ID please contact your Firm Administrator who will be able to tell you.

There will be a message at the top of this new page to guide you.
"We’re making changes to strengthen your login security so this page may look different to the last time you visited. Please enter your Log In ID as your Username. For more information click here."
Continue to next page and enter your PIN.
What will be the change from September onwards?
We will be introducing multi-factor authentication where we will send a one-time passcode to your registered email as part of log in.
Log in credentials will change to a username (which will be your existing Log in/Consultant ID) and password.
Existing users will be asked to create a strong password on first time log in following the upgrade.
New users post upgrade set up by Firm Administrators will receive an email notification with a link to register using their Consultant ID as their username and then asked to create a strong password and PIN.
A PIN will only be required when re-setting a password and not for log in.
We will be migrating firms in phases to the new log in process during the course of September through to December.
Once a firm has been migrated they see an Important Information page after entering their username.

When you first log in after adding your Username you will see a new page with Important information.
Once you’ve confirmed your email address you will receive a one-time passcode, which once entered successfully, you will be asked to create a strong password.
You will then be able to log in using your new password. A further one-time passcode will be sent to you to confirm your log in credentials which you will be able to skip if you save your device.
It is important that you retain your PIN to enable you to reset your password without the need to reach out to your Firm Administrator to help you.
What are the steps to take now?
- Ensure you have two Firm Administrators set up for each Head Agency of your firm and at least one Firm Administrator for each sub-Agency.
- Firm Administrators with access to the Head Agency should take this opportunity to check all the current users in their firm and delete any members of staff who may have left or don’t require to log in to Fidelity Adviser Solutions. This can be done by selecting Firm and Manage Users on the blue navigation bar. In addition you can access a list of all users by downloading the Web Access report from Reporting Services.
Important information
If your back office has integrated with our Reporting Services and you use a Consultant ID and PIN to access these reports - those credentials will not change, and a PIN will continue to be required to log in and access/download reports from your Back Office.
