Jackie Boylan appointed to lead FundsNetwork
Jackie Boylan has been appointed to the role of Head of FundsNetwork at Fidelity International. She takes up the role on 1 January 2019.
Jackie joined FundsNetwork in May 2017 as Head of Advisory Services where she has had responsibility for the management and development of the service and experience that FundsNetwork delivers to advisory firms. She will replace Pat Shea who will retire at the end of 2018.
Prior to joining the Fidelity International business she held a wide variety of management positions, over 22 years, with BT Financial Group, a subsidiary of Westpac Group and one of Australia’s leading wealth management organisations. In these roles she was instrumental in enhancing the customer and adviser experience.
Jackie Boylan said: "I'm delighted to be appointed to lead FundsNetwork and work with the team to build upon its success and contribute to the next phase of growth. The platform and advisory market is undergoing significant change which is both exciting and challenging. I’m looking forward to working with our advisory partners in my new capacity to continue to develop the platform and deliver a market leading experience that meets their needs."
Pete Horrell, UK Managing Director of Fidelity International, added: "I am very pleased to announce the appointment of someone of Jackie’s calibre to the role. Jackie has considerable knowledge and experience in the industry, gained from working both in the UK and Australia, both of which have well-developed advisory platform markets. This makes her ideally suited to the role and her appointment demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the financial adviser market."
